Christian Fellowship Ministries has sent more teams to GAP than any other church. The church started sending teams in 2002, sometimes two or three a year. The team this year has continued the tradition and has been a tremendous help by helping us check off items from our "to-do" list.

Mt Pleasant Teens Serve

April 4-9

A group of teens from Mount Pleasant Baptist Church in Virginia are spending the week at GAP serving. The team is helping around the Distribution Center, working on several home improvement projects, conducting a VBS and visiting a local nursing home.

Vineyard Team Gets Busy

March 26-31

The Vineyard Christian Fellowship team from Bellefontaine Ohio came for the Easter Egg Hunt and lead games, performed a skit, and shared a message. In addition to the Egg Hunt they visited in the community and worked at the Distribution Center. The team assisted during Distribution by witnessing to the people out in the parking lot, serving coffee and drinks, doing hair cuts, and cleaning up around the building.

The Journey Team Brings The Fun

March 26-18

A team from The Journey in Russellville, AR brought inflatable games to the Easter Egg Hunt that were donated by A Whole Lotta Fun.

Community Easter Egg Hunt

March 27

This years Egg Hunt was a huge success. We had 625 people register during the event and we estimate that 350 children participated in the Easter Egg Hunt.

In addition to the Egg Hunt the event offered games for all ages, free food, live music, and twp speakers. The best part was that several people connected to the reason we celebrate Easter in the first place, beginning a relationship with Christ.

Trailer Donated

A brand new trailer was donated to GAP by some generous partners who wish to remain anonymous. The gift came at the perfect time to replace our existing trailer that was showing its age.

Scout Team Travels From Georgia

March 19

A scout team from Smoke Rise Baptist, Stone Mountain Georgia, traveled to Kentucky to plan their upcoming mission trip. The team brought furniture and other items needed at GAP.
