What We Do

Resource Distribution

We assist with food, clothing, cleaning supplies, personal products, and household items to qualifying families through our distribution center. Our center is open twice a week for distribution; needy persons come by appointment and receive personal attention by our staff. We also assist victims of house fires and those in need of emergency food. God's Appalachian Partnership helps other centers in our region by assisting them with extra resources to distribute in their communities.

Job Training

Our goal is to not only help with short term needs, but also help find long term solutions. We offer specialized on the job training through Faith Cleaning Service. Individuals learn fundamental job skills such as dependability, accountability, and self esteem. Ultimately participants are given the opportunity to start their own business.

Home Repairs

GAP offers assistance to families in need of home repairs. Each request is evaluated, and as mission teams with the resources and skills are available, these repairs are done at no cost to the family.

Sharing The Love of Christ

We try to get involved in the lives of those we serve and offer friendship. We take time to sit down with the individuals that come to us for assistance to talk them about what's going on in there lives, share the Love of Christ for them, pray with them about their concerns and celebrate their joys.

Every Sunday night we have a bible study in a community home that’s open to anyone wishing to attend. Through out the year mission teams hold back yard Bible clubs and vacation Bible schools throughout the community.
