Evangel Baptist Church from Lewistown, PA ministered at GAP August 9th through 14th, 2015. The team of nine arrived with hearts prepared to serve and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The team divided into three smaller teams, each with their own focus and objectives. Two teams were construction ministry teams that remolded a family’s bathroom and re-supported and floored an elderly lady’s kitchen. The third team consisting of all women focused upon using their talents of cake decorating, facials, and manicures to minister to many of our client women. The cake decorating classes were a huge success with our clients! It was exciting to see them use their God-given creativity. These classes allowed relationships to be built and the Gospel shared. The construction ministry teams knew their focus was not just to do some home remolding but to share God’s message of Hope. One client whose home they worked on accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior during the week! Praise the Lord!
